Bacteria Lead To Plaque, Tartar & Cavities

Saliva leaves deposits on teeth that bacteria can stick to. Plaque starts as biofilm that forms on the surfaces of the teeth. This accumulation subjects the teeth to high concentrations of bacteria, which results in dental disease.

If plaque is not removed it hardens into tartar. As plaque and tartar continue to build up, the gums begin to pull away from the teeth, and pockets form between teeth and gums.

When dental plaque is left undisturbed, tooth decay and cavities develop. In several studies CloSYS has been shown to thoroughly kill these bacteria in seconds.
