Bacteria Lead To Plaque, Tartar & Cavities

Saliva leaves deposits on teeth that bacteria can stick to. Plaque starts as biofilm that forms on the surfaces of the teeth. This accumulation subjects the teeth to high concentrations of bacteria, which results in dental disease.
