Steps to Good Oral Care
What's The Proper Oral Care Regime?
Believe it or not, many of us don't know the best way to care for our teeth, gums and mouth. It generally comes
down to taking enough time. The CloSYS protocol for good oral health care takes only minutes a day to make a noticeable
difference.
How to care for your teeth and gums:
- Prepare the mouth:
- Gently floss between each tooth running the floss against both sides of each tooth in a C motion.
This removes plaque and trapped food particle and creates air pockets that help kill germs which live in
air-free environments. To learn more: View This Video
- Use an oral irrigator (i.e. Water Pik) daily with CloSYS Oral Health rinse mixed at a 10:1 ratio of water to rinse. Using an
oral irrigator can be a little messy so it's best to lean over the sink and keep a
towel close by to wipe up any spills. The results are very much worth the extra effort. To learn more:

- Brush with a pea-size amount of CloSYS toothpaste. Use an electric toothbrush for best results. Brush a full 2 minutes being
sure to angle the brush into the gumline as you brush. Brushing is as much about treating the gums as it is about cleaning the teeth
to fight gum disease. Spit the excess paste into the sink but do not rinse out the mouth with water which is a common next step.
- Instead rinse with 1/2 oz of CloSYS rinse for at least 30 seconds or more. By rinsing immediately after brushing, you keep the
CloSYS Cloralstan™ active ingredient in and around the teeth and gums longer which will maximize your results. Be sure to tilt your head back
and gargle to reach the back of the throat area which also helps greatly to reduce sore throats.
- After you finish rinsing, it's best to not eat or drink for 30 minutes or so. This allows the CloSYS Cloralstan™,
which is naturally activated by your own saliva, to keep on killing germs and balance the pH of your mouth. A balanced mouth means your mouth is
less acidic so it's less prone to germ growth.
